





On October 17, 2024, UNESCO- Alwaleed Philanthropies Project kick off hybrid meeting was conducted for Selected Applicants of the Project Grants in Dar es Salam Tanzania.
Titled Crafting Change, ‘Fostering Community-Based Development through Culture-Related Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Employment,’ the project is meant to foster economic opportunities, especially for youth and women, while preserving the rich cultural heritage of Tanzania.
The five selected grantees are Tanzania Media for Community Development (TAMCODE), Mwanyanya Green Society, Youth Alliance for Progress Organization (YAPO), Readership for Learning and Development (SOMA), and the Centre for African Development through Economics and the Arts (ADEA).
